About
So, what exactly is whatan00b? Well, let’s start with what it’s not.
What it is not:
Whatan00b is not a collection of “l33t h4×0rs” who are out to “pwn n00bs”. We know that starting out in technology can be intimidating. We’ve all been there. We just love technology and want to share our experiences and knowledge. At no time is n00b used on this site as a negative term.. more of an affectionate nickname.
What it is:
Whatan00b is a place for a group of people to share their research and thoughts. The majority of our expertise is in programming, systems administration, security. We have experience on Mac, Linux, and Windows with a major focus being in Mac and Linux. Specific technologies, of course, vary writer to writer so we will focus on each of them.
Whatan00b is written and maintained by two guys who are definitely n00bs:
Dustin Schnabel
